One hundred and three patients had a history of liver failure and another patient had no history of liver failure. There were no significant differences between the two groups in terms of age, gender, serum bilirubin, ALT, AST, and creatinine concentrations. There was no significant difference in bilirubin, AST, and serum creatinine concentrations between the two groups. There was no significant difference in the rate of dose reduction in either group.
Conclusions:In patients with severe hepatic impairment, terazosin can be used as a single treatment option for patients with moderate to severe hepatic impairment.
